Is this movie the one I'm thinking?
Hello,
I have a stupid question. I'm trying to figure out if I have seen this movie before or not. It's been a very long time, and all I can remember is Paul Newman being trapped in a huge room (part of a factory, I think) with the female protagonist. In order to escape, they fill the whole place with water, which pretty much takes them all night. At the end of the scene they almost drown before someone finally opens the door and all the water comes out quite violently killing or hurting some of the bad guys.
Another thing that I remember is Newman running away from big mansion in the middle of nowhere (it was a green landscape, I think). At some point the bad guys send a rottweiler (or some other mean dog) after him. Newman makes it all the way to a river when the dog is about to get him. Once Newman is in the water, the dog still goes after him, which works out because Newman manages to drown the dog and escape.
So… do these scenes belong to Absence of Malice, or am I talking about some other film?
Thanks for reading!
