Not Great: Ii would like to see your opinions.

On the Negative: Very campy and the dialouge is all from the book nothing new and the illustrations do not tell any of the storys that the book does. Also it is as if they did not even try with the special effects and the level of humour that is thought out is limited.

On the positive: The humour is there, they keep the magic of the book and the acting performances are exceptable. The show is not great up until around episode 4 where it starts to develop more solo humour.

Also Trillian is awful in this one, not like Trillian in the new movie (Zooey Deschannel)

And you just cannot beat the book

yeah... the book tops everything
(although to be fair i haven't heard the radio play yet)

and i agree with you about trillian, she's supposed to be a brilliant woman with degrees in math and astrophysics, isn't she? instead they made her into an american barbie chick. gah...silly people

I like arthur from the movie a lot better

i think tv arthur is to cranky and annoyed by everyone

and tv zaphod's awful rubber head is incredibly distracting and annoying

but i like tv ford a lot better than mos def's version

anyways, i think it's good, but not great
