Vegetarians - would you eat the Dish of the Day?


I know there are many reasons for vegetarianism. But a major one is the fact that the meat industry is basically the exploitation of dumb animals. So, hypothetically if there was a creature intelligent enough to know it WANTED to be eaten, would you have the same objection?

You are fogeting that it has been geneticlaly modified and bread to beileave that it wants to be eaten. Therefore it is still a dumb animal.

I'm not a vegitarian, but other than the issue of eating a sentient being which I might be slightly uncomfortable with, I see no moral problem in eating an Ameglian major cow. He did look rather plump and juicy.
