Question From an American to Anyone (Old enough to know) in The UK

Back in the 80's when this show was made, were any of the main actors considered a sex symbol or a heartthrob, such as we have now with David Beckham or Ryan Gosling, or *swoon* Johnny Depp ;) ? (I can definitely see it in David Dixon, but I may be wrong?)

I was too young at the time but Dixon no...the sex symbol at the time would have been Mark Wing-Davey.

Just in case you think I'm kidding I'm not.....things have changed since though.

Lots of planets have a Scotland...
