Yes, I noticed on the 20th of March myself. I kicked myself because I usually mark each anniversary(like the loser I am). I could of spent the day in my own personal GAH marathon and singing the theme. If I would've planned in advance I could have even got a GAH shirt off eBay & done played the fool flying around the house like I used to when the show first aired.
By the way, I saw the first episode when it aired back in March 18, 1981.
I even remember seeing the promos for it before it aired... back in the end of 1980.
Anybody else have these experiences? Come on, I can't be the only one!
Ralph Hinkley was The Greatest American Hero! He'd teach a class of misfit students...and save the world from disaster. I love the look on Pam's face when she sees Ralph in the "Supersuit" for the first time.

Man I feel super old and I'm only 35. I say only because I know I'm still young and in the prime of life. But I remember in the 90s when GAH was only a decade and change old, then the 20th anniversary came in 2001 and it seemed like it had become a classic show which made it feel odd. Now it's the 30th anniversary, that's about how old Howdy Doody or other 1950s shows like the Lone Ranger (Ralph's favorite show) was to us kids in the 80s.

When this show first aired I was 9 1/2 years old almost 10 years old. I loved watching this show when it came on. Mr. Cannal speaks on the first seasons DVD and says that after the pilot aired the people that hired him from ABC wound up leaving the network and he had problems with the new people who stepped in to run the network and all. I loved watching this show as a kid and think it was great to watch! It is a shame that it only lasted 3 seasons.

Time sure does fly, don't it. And today is 30 and 1 year that John Lennon was killed by a nut. Why he has three names I have no idea. Why not just call him Mark Chapman?
