35 years since The Greatest American Hero first aired on ABC


its been 35 years since The Greatest American Hero first aired on ABC and it ran for three seasons. it was also the first show to have the closing logo sequence for the late Stephen J. Cannell's production company. the theme song was Believe it or not by Joey Scarbury.

throughout the three season run for The Greatest American Hero, School teacher Ralph Hinkley fight the bad guys in a Super hero costume with unearthly powers with the help of FBI agent Bill Maxwell but when Ralph flies, he had trouble landing on the ground after he lost the instruction book.

TGAH was the first Cannell show to have a closing logo sequence for the late Stephen J. Cannell's production company and it was used at the end of each every of the Cannell shows like The A-Team, Hardcastle and McCormick, Riptide, Hunter, Stingray, 21 Jump Street, Wiseguy, The Commish, Silk Stalkings and Renegade.
