We can't even get unedited versions over here and they get blu rays.I guess it's good for those who have the money to spend and a region free Blu ray player.Unfortunately i have neither.

Actually, the GAH Japanese Blu-ray discs will play on USA players - you don't need to buy a region-free player.
That said, you're correct... they're not cheap.

Have you gotten the Blu rays Doom.I'm curious to know if there is much of an upgrade in A/V quality.Also if they include any new extra's.

I have them, yes.
They're an upgrade mainly just because of the media they're on. They didn't do a full remastering job unfortunately, but my guess is this is probably the best we'll ever see (and hear - a big one for this show, as the Japanese Blu-ray discs retain the original music) the episodes.
And sadly no. No new extras.

shareIt really sucks that they didn't remaster this. The show was obviously shot on film so the quality would excellent. It's in crappy 80's tv quality even on Hulu.
