In order for a reboot to work, it would have to take on the real people trying to destroy the world -- in particular, the greedy rich and the corrupt politicians (of all parties). * How long would such a show last?
Despite the occasional episode that acknowledged "real" problems, TGAH was a basically a spoof. Thirty-five years later, how could it be "freshened"?
* Because politics (which is sublimated violence) depends on compromise to work, it gradually devolves into mutual-back-scratching corruption.
