The GMC Pick Up

Does anyone know any specifics about the truck? Does anyone know where I can get pictures of the truck? I know its a 1981-1984 long wheelbase from the different grills that you can see on the front end of the truck. Chrome wagon wheels. Are they 33 or 35 inch tires? Looks like a 4inch lift kit on the truck. Chrome roll bar, pushbar and guard. Did he have a winch on the front?

I personally don't know that much about the truck but I will try to find out for you. Fall Guy was one of my dad's favorite shows. I will ask him and get back to you.

I have some information, the truck was a GMC Sierra. It had 35 inch tires, a 6 inch full suspension lift, and yes it did have a winch. If you want to know anything more feel free to ask.

I think the truck was blown up in one episode causing Colt to need a new one which he complained wasn't the same am I right? You could probably describe the truck the way people talk about Superman. "It's a bird. It's a plane. No it's Colt's Truck!"

They had one truck that they used for most shots. They had a FEW stunt trucks that were the same or made up to look as close as possible to the original. They trashed a few of the trucks through filming this.

you can pull up my webpage. On page 3 you'll find all the truck info I've been able to gather over the years. Mike

I always thought they had a 79-80 Sierra Classic in the beginning, and then in later episodes they updated the truck to an 81-up model with the same colors?

I loved those trucks and always wanted to do one up like the one from this show.

During the show's run there was a 1:24 scale plastic model of the truck produced. Check out eBay for one. Also in Wal-Mart the other day I saw a GMC 4X4 kit on the shelf. It looks like a reissue of the Fall Guy kit, but now is blue without the decals.

in the 1st few episodes it was an 80 and had no bird on the hood

I had that model, and it was probably my next to favorite to put together, next to my GTO's.
