'The Fall Guy' season one DVD cover is awful!

I love this show and I don't want to be negative, but I have to comment that I think that the cover for the season one DVD set of "The Fall Guy" is terrible. For one thing, there are hundreds of publicity stills from the 1st season of the show that could have been chosen. Secondly, the picture of Lee Majors is from the 1990's and appears to be from his "Tour of Duty" days. Usually lovely Heather Thomas is in full coke whore mode in the photo that was selected for the cover of the set and it is a close-up of her face instead of a body or classic bikinni shot. I don't mean to seem harsh since I am a BIG fan of Heather Thomas. Hell, I own film prints for my movie projectors of "Zapped!" and most of the episodes of "The Fall Guy", so I do adore the Miss Thomas of yesteryear and today...my point is that a horrible photo was picked of she and Lee, but I'm thrilled that the DVD set is being released at all.

The bottom part is okay but the upper part really looks awful. And why isn't Douglas Barr on it as well ?

Let's hope the covers for the upcoming seasons will be better.

I personally don't mind the DVD cover. I think it's ok and as said before, I'm surprised Douglas Barr wasn't on the cover. I guess they thought Heather Thomas' picture would help the box set sell more.

One picture they could have used for the cover is the one which shows an iconic portrait of Colt with drawings of a bridge, cars, planes and explosions under him.

Hey we should not complain because at least they have it coming out on DVD because I read everyones thread saying "When is it going to come out?" "I miss this show!" I am happy that the DVD box set will finally be out and go buy it and make the weekend a marathon with some pizza or hot wings and cold beer! I will think back to when life was so much easier at that time and no worries either other than doing homework, keeping grades up so that I would not be grounded from watching TV or anything else you can think of.

I agree with the OP completley. It was the 1st thing I thought of when I saw it at the store. I was like - WTF, heather thomas wasnt in season 1? That picture doesnt even look like her.

"This is how we say goodbye in Germany, Dr. Jones..."

That is Heather Thomas in the DVD cover. It is possibly a photo of her a few years older you know. I do remember her appearing in the first season of the show. There is no way that they could have added her into the 2nd or third season of the show. They could have but I am not so sure if it would have worked very good at all. I mean she was the eye candy of the show. So was Marki Post in her younger days as well. She was very attractive woman when she was younger Marki Post was.

Heather Thomas was in Season 1, she was in The Fall Guy from the pilot episode.

Markie Post wasn't in the first season.

I believe Markie Post does not appear until like the third or fourth season of the serious. She was hot when she was younger!
