Farrah

I noriced on the featurette for the DVD that Lee Majors didnt mention her name when he was discussing the theme song. Was he just being funny or does he not speak with her anymore??

reply

In the featurette he did Farrah but he did not want to use her full name though. He just sort of said Whatever her name is. It was like he did not want to have anything to do with her at all really. That is what I think.

Yes you are correct about that and she did do him wrong by cheating on him. She should not have cheated on him you know.

Well I watched last month a bio on Lee Majors talking about his life on Bio. They were saying including Lee Majors that their jobs would pull them away from each other and it made it hard for them to be together.

That I think when she could not spend time with him might have caused her to cheat on him you know.

Yes I agree with you there that she could have told him that she was unhappy about them being away from each other so much. They could have seperated and tried to work things out.

His biography was very good it even talked about how he came up with his last name and all. Yes they were a good looking couple together and just think if they had kids they would have had some nice looking kids I bet.

Yes their kids would have been beautiful! Yes you can buy the DVD about that biography from www.Biotv.com I believe it is. If that does not do it then it is the biography channel.

I am not sure if he wrote a biography or not. I am sure he has though. You may want to do some research on that.

Yes I have seen the show The Big Valley but it has been ages. I watched it as a kid when they had it in syndication.

That is cool that it comes on Encore Westerns. I have not seen The Six Million Dollar Man in ages. Not since the 80's when it was in syndication at that time. I would also love for it to come out on DVD as well.

I do not know why no one has put it in syndication in so many years. It would be nice to watch you know.

There are shows from the 80's that they should be showing but the have not because they only want to show the shows that everyone loves. I would love to see in syndication some of the shows that I grew up watching during the 80's. There are a bunch of them that they will not show for some reason. There is a website that I have that can help to get the DVD box set out you know and I will post it later ok. You just have to sign it and all.

Well if you go to Mr. Belvedere or to Valerie you can find the link there and sign up for it. I agree they repeat too many shows and I do remember a time when I use to be able to catch Wild, Wild, West in the late 80's and early 90's at one point.

That is why Nick@Nite was created and TV Land to show a bunch of the classics but they only show so much though of it.

That is great to hear guy that you will sign up for it! Yeah it would have been great if TV Land would have aired WILD WILD WEST. Yes it seems like that anymore that we are better off in buying the DVD box set but it is hard when some of the shows are not on DVD.

Sure that would be great to have you link to the Lee Majors group.

Yes I am glad for DVD's too! You are so very true about that if it were not for the DVD box sets then we would not be able to enjoy our favorit shows but the problem is that they will release the first season of the show and then they do not release the rest of the seasons for us fans to enjoy.

Thanks for sending that link to me. I appreciate that.

I do not like it either when they do not release all of the DVD box sets of each season. I do not know the answer to your question as to why it takes so long for the rest of the seasons to come out.

That is cool that they made WILD WILD WEST came out so quickly for the fans to buy. In the featurettes they have Glen Larson, Lee Majors, and Heather Thomas talk about The Fall Guy.

It is a shame that they did not have Douglas Barr as well in the featurette doing a commentary of the show. I think that would have been nice if they had gotten the whole cast together for a reunion.

Also what is in it is how the theme song came to be. It was very good information on everything.

Yes that was great that they released all of the seasons of WILD WILD WEST. That was so great for them to do that for the fans you know. Well some people have complained that they edited out some scenes from the show if you go through the board here.

Yes it was great with Lee Majors commenting on the DVD about the show. It is a shame that they did not have a cast reunion. That would have been nice to see if they had done that. I love the theme song to this show and use to sing it when this came on when I was a kid and still do to this day.

Yes the do mention a lot of celebrities on the show which is great because it pays tribute to them in a respectful way. That is why I think it was done like that.

Yes it is always interesting when celebs are mentioned in songs. That is very cool about that. Yes a cast reunion would have been cool to see with this show. Oh really just a few cast members in Dallas season 1 and 2? That is good that it was still cool.

I am not sure I do not have WILD WILD WEST on DVD box set so I would not know to be honest with you. I do not know why they cut out scenes for. I agree with you there that no scenes should be deleted at all from a how. Yeah that was great when they released all of the seasons so fast for the fans. Yes it will be a collectors item if you collect all of them.

Yes the remake movie did flop but the sound track was so good though with some great music because I bought the sound track when it came out. I hope that a Fall Guy movie does not get made either. That is just crazy that George Clooney is wanting Lee Majors lead role if they made a movie of The Fall Guy. I cannot believe that at all.

Yes George Clooney would be awful playing Colt in The Fall Guy. I am sure that it will scrapped all right. I do not know how they thingk that they can get someone else to play the role that Lee did. I hope he is against it as well and The Six Million Dollar Man as well.

Yes WILD WILD WEST the movie was a flop. It is a very good soundtrack to listen to. Well actually to be honest with you that is not the original version of The WILD WILD WES song. It was originally done in 1987 or 1988 by a rappers known as Kool Moe Dee I believe that is how you spell his rappers name. The original song is used in Will Smiths version of it with the help of Kool Moe Dee. That is good to hear that Robert Conrad accepted the Razzie Award for the WILD WILD WEST movie.

Well that tells you something that the former main star of the TV show did not like it. That is great to hear that the full set comes out in November. I bet you cannot wait for it to come out. No I have not seen The Miami Vice movie because it did not appeal to me to go see it to be honest with you. The Big Valley should not be remade at all because there is no actress that can play as good of a role that Barbara Stanwyck did. She was a great actress!

Actually the Ghostbusters movie is not being redone You read wrong about that because both Herold Ramis and Dan Akcroyd are working on a movie script for a third Ghostbusters version of the movie. The main characters will make an appearance in the movie but they will not have as big of a role like they did in the first two movies. They will be like mentors to the new main actors. I never did hear about the Robocop movie being remade. Yes the remakes are insane! I have to agree with you on that man.

I remember watching George Clooney in the 80's when he first started in the business. The only reason why he is so big now is due to his mom and aunts who were famous with the classic movies that use to be made. If he is in the right role I think he is a good actor but when he took over for Val Kilmer in Batman and Robin I was pissed because he ruined that franchise playing the caped crusader. Just wait and see on what happens because anything can happen you know.

That is good that you were happy that Robert Conrad accepted The Razzie. The reason as to why not to like it is due to James West was not a black man but a white man and they changed his character into a African American which I was not too happy about. I remember watching WILD WILD WEST when I was younger and liked that show. I would come home on a Sunday afternoon after church and watch WILD WILD WEST.

Well it has a mixture of music that is rap, hip hop, and other styles of music as well including Enrique Iglesias the son of Julio. He sings Balamos which is a very good song to listen to. I bet it is cool to see. That is good that you are excited about it. No Ghostbusters is not being remade at all. It is just a third movie that they are coming up with.

The original actors will be in the third movie but not as big of a role like the first two movies though. They are going to put some stars that will be very good trust me on that but we have to wait and see about that though. That is cool that you watched it a lot as a kid when you were younger.

I went to see it at the movie theaters when it came out with my parents. I remember going to see The Adams Family remake and liked it very much. The did a very good job on that movie. For some reason The Brady Bunch did not interest me though too much so I did not see it.

They could have found someone to play James T. West I am sure of that but Will Smith was not him though. I am not sure because it has been a long time since I have seen the movie.

I liked Val Kilmer as Batman and thought he did a better job than George Clooney did. Clooney rose to fame by his relatives. That is how you have to make it out in Hollywood. It is who you know is how you are going to make it big. Plus, if he is in the right role he is a good actor but if he is thrown into a element that he is not that good in then the movie is going to flop.

Hopefully it will be a good movie to watch but we will have to wait and see on how it turns out. I am not sure as to why they waited so long to do a third movie guy. The second one came out in the early 90's because I was in high school at the time it came out. I am not sure as to why a third on was not made. I remember that the sequel did not do so well when it came out because it was not done as well as the first movie.

Yes The Adams Family was done the right way from the TV show version. That is good that you use to watch it over and over again as a kid those movies. Well if you had TBS at that time you would have seen the TV show in the afternoon or evening because during the early 90's TBS was showing The Adams Family. They did make a third one but it went directly to video I believe. You will have to check it out though because it did not have any of the original actors in that movie though at all.

Yes The Brady Bunch could have been sat in the 70's but like I said they like to take a TV show and remake it and ruin the it by updating it. It would be like taking The Waltons which was a classic show that was done in the early 70's and ran until the early 80's and trying to do that in todays times. You would not see a large family like that today. It would be very rare and the TV show was set at the time of World War II.

I agree that Will Smith was wrong to play James West but you have to blame the director for that because he was the one who chose him to play the role in the movie. Yes I know that Robert Conrad is James West. I am not sure if Will Smith liked the show or not. So I cannot really say guy about that. No I have not seen Robert Conrads Hawaiian Eye before. I would not know if it is out on DVD or not. You would have to check Amazon or Ebay for that man.

Yes I have to agree with you about George Clooney he is miscasted at times but when he is put into the right role then he is a great actor to watch. Yes I joined your Lee Majors Yahoo group guy

Lee has a sense of humor and I think he was being funny here because he and Farrah were "the couple" in the 1970's, so he didn't need to use her last name. I think he was also referencing The Fall Guy song where he says something like, "Well, I've been seen with Farrah..." He only uses her first name in the song. It was a joke.

reply

Lee Majors did not reconcile with Farrah until just before she died.
