Am I wrong or was something not quite right about Colt and Howie living together and in one episode even sharing a hot tub together?

I can't comment about the hot tub thing because I don't remember it, but Colt and Howie were cousins I do believe. Nothing unusual about family staying together. In fact, I think Colt paid for some of (or most of?) Howie's long college career.
