My ideal cast for a film version

Certainly good choices all.

At last report (and this goes back to 2013) Dwayne Johnson was all set to star as Colt, but since then it's been pretty quiet. I like Johnson, think he'd be good in an updated sort of way. But what made Colt work in the series is that he had that sort of Cowboy thing which worked well juxtaposed against the glamour of the biz. Also Johnson is so cartoonishly big that he starts off any scenario as the favorite where Colt should be more human.

For Colt I'd go with Matthew McConaughey, who has that Southern thing and a natural disposition similar to the character as Majors portrayed him. For Jody maybe former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly, who has the look and would be believable as a stuntwoman (and it's not like the role requires Academy Award-caliber acting). For Howie no one really comes to mind.

I think it would be hilarious if Lee Majors played Colt again, and they expected us to believe he's still doing all of those insane stunts for actors half his age or less. They could dress him up as a Hogwarts student and have him do some insane Quidditch stunts. :D

I think there should a be a recreation of Jody coming through the swing doors in her bikini in one scene, just like the opening credits of the show

They should stop remaking everything and come up with original ideas and leave these original works alone.
