Jeffrey DeMunn is brilliant
Jeffrey DeMunn is absolutely brilliant as the concerned and tortured brother Philip. DeMunn always has been in the background, churning out top-notch performances as he recently did as the agent in Hollywoodland, yet few people could tell you who he is let alone recognize his name. Christmas Evil is a minor masterpiece, the acting is remarkable, but as soon as you realize how great the actors are you quickly forget them. That has been the unfortunate fate of DeMunn is almost all of his roles.
