What kind of part is Harry's mother given? I haven't seen the movie, but am led to believe she is the cause of Harry's break down. I just wanted to know because of the actress who plays her, Ellen McElduff.

Harry realizes that the Santa Claus whom he saw as a kid was his father when he caught him going down on her by the Christmas tree. She is more of a presence than an actual character & only has one spoken line, but it's an important role anyway.
