Harry saw Santa screwing his Mother and that put him over the edge!

And he was never right again and that ultimately led to his serial killing spree and its possible that he was already a little funny in the head to begin with!

I have said that for years-- how can that screw him up for life? EVERYONE learns that Santa isn't real, and EVERYONE learns about sex. How could that screw him up for life? See "Silent Night Deadly Night"--- the trauma that kid goes through really could screw anybody up for life, the way after the tragedy his brain gets poisoned by all the wrong people. When he finally does snap, it is actually understandable.

Harry is just a looser from day one. How did he possibly get through high school?!

He was definately messed up in the head. I knew all along that Santa was fake. My parents would always close the door Christmas Eve when I was little. I found out for sure one Christmas, when I left raindeer food out for Santa. The next morning I went outside and there was a trail of seeds down my driveway. Then I went into the kitchen and there's the raindeer food on top of the fridge. At least my parents tried to make it look like Santa flew off with the seeds dropping them from the sky lol.

I have to admit that scene with Harry's mother and "Santa" was one of the more bizarre scenes ever put on film, to say the very least.

I've been watching this movie on YouTube over the past couple days when I've had time, and I think that opening scene is what is making the whole movie unbelievable for me. I can see a kid getting upset initially at seeing mommy making out with Santa, but to be traumatized for life and turn into a person obsessed with Santa and Christmas is rediculous. He looked like he lived in an apartment, but nobody saw him on the roof stalking kids with binoculars, making those metal toy soldiers, painting his van, etc.? I know that movies expect us to suspend our belief, but this one is just a bit much.

The funny thing about that is this.The Santa was actually his dad and they never showed them screwing.He was only feeling up her leg.And if they did have sex,I doubt they would do that right there where it would echo through the house or maybe one of their kids would get up to get a drink or use the bathroom and see that going on by the christmas tree.
