the best parts of the movie...

...were those with Adolfo Quinones pop-locking with more of others I recognize from a NY krewe, Darcell Wynne doing what she does best - looking glamorous while defying the laws of dance and Gene Kelly on skates. That put the movie in a totally different light.

The best parts of this movie for me was the " Dancin' " number - truly symbolic ! The 1940's meets the 1980's and both have alike qualities to them . Gene Kelly on skates was just fabulous - what a guy ! Thanks for your subject post .

The Muses dancing to "I'm Alive" and the "All Over The World" number in the glitz store.

"I'm Alive" scene - Muses come alive from wall- great song!

"Whenever Your Away from Me"- Gotta love Gene Kelly and Olivia singing and dancing together- great song!

"Dancin" scene - 40's and 80's fuse together.

"Don't Walk Away" - Cute animation and great song!

"All Over the World" - Gotta love the cheesy dancers, costumes- great song!

"Suspended in Time" - Beautiful overlooked love song written by John Farrar who also wrote "Hopefully Devoted to You" from Grease. Oliva does a great solo.

"Drum Dreams" - the entire skating and dancing sequence at Xanadu.

"Xanadu" - when Olivia comes out singing with feathered hair and that glitzy outfit.

40's tap/Fool/Country" - when Olivia sings and dances with her other muse sisters.

Guess you can love all the scenes with a song in the movie:)

The very beginning when Sonny is drawing in his own art studio.

And since I'm a HUGE Cliff Richard fan, "Suddenly".
