Time warp

If Danny McGuire's time with Kira, or Terpsichore, or whatever, was roughly 1945 and "Xanadu" takes place in 1980, that means 35 years passed between Danny's muse-time and Sonny's.

Of course, as soon as Kira left Danny, his type of music went out of fashion and he was left with a deadened soul.

Right after Kira left Sonny discos and roller boogie died an immediate and ugly death, Danny probably died poor and more defeated than ever and Sonny probably took his place on the rocks near Venice beach, sitting alone day after day, turning old, bitter and ugly, clutching an 8-track of songs that played in his club when it was "his" time for all of 5 minutes.

It's been 30 years. Will Kira come back soon, and inspire some new electro artist or guy with an ambition to make an HD TV or 3D movie...?
