It's not perfect as a movie, though the concepts and ideas are in the right place, and it's the music that really sells that euphoric feeling. The music holds up particularly well, especially as today's tunes are more or less computer-generated beeping. ELO did some of that as well, but comparing ELO to anything modern, ELO clearly took more time to create music with more depth and lushness and tonal beauty. Not prepackaged manufactured buzzing.
