Xanadu's Deleted Scenes?!
On the Wiki site, it said that actor Joe Mantegna appeared in deleted scenes in Xanadu.
Does anyone know anything about what scenes were deleted from the film?
There is an alternative version of Suspended In Time which you can see in the making of Xanadu documentary. That's all available on youtube. Kira is singing directly to Sonny and the lyrics take on a more powerful aspect because of his presence. Also there is quite a rare 20 minute taster version of Xanadu which shows a couple of deleted scenes. Firstly Sonny and his friend with the glasses are walking through a shop holding the Nine Sisters album and discussing the missing Kira and secondly the extended tap dance scene in the finale. Hope this helps.

Update: go to YouTube and look up "Xanadu Appreciation Society".
They have a "promo" version of the movie that was shown to theater owners made up of a lot of alternate scenes.
A lot of scenes that frankly belonged in the movie over what was actually used.

Included is "Making Xanadu" at twice the vid rate (at 480p) as another version floating around. Runtime is 23mins without being chopped in pt1, pt2, etc.
