Guilty pleasure movie for me today

I was only 7 when this came out, watched it with my cousins, I liked it for the ONJ songs and how unique it was. I'm not a fan of musicals as this and the Scrooge with Albert Finney are about the only two that I like.

Today I love it for the nostalgia also how it reminds me of when I was 7 and how the world around me was. It's become a guilty please simply for how it makes me feel. I'm Alive, Magic & Xanadu have always been songs I love, they're really quite good still today.

My cousins that I watched it with grew up to be the country music group Shedaisy so they've always been into music and musicals. It was fun to watch them grow up and be able to make a few albums. I can't watch this movie and not think about them since we originally watched it together.

Even though this movie is not great it sure is fun for me. I swear the 80s was the best decade to live during being 7 to 17. I had the time of my life.
