that Sissy wanted to ride the Bull? He knew how she was, Sissy was no prissy, white glove wearing office worker or cosmetic saleslady all feminine.. he knew she was tough and worked in her dads garage, something not that many women did in that era.. He knew what type of chick he had married....he knew he didn't have a Susie homemaker type...
shareBecause Buuuud was a bit of a dick. As a knuckle dragging male, he didn't want his woman to ride the bull; something that was man's work (although Sissy did work on a tow truck - but Buuuud wasn't all that bright).
At the end of the movie, when Buuuud was more enlightened for his experiences, he told Sissy she should ride the bull if that's what she wanted.
That scene always makes me laugh. She says something like, "Im gonna ride that bull." Doesn't Bud hit her or something and says in his fake Texas accent, "I dont ever wanna hear you say that again." lol. That just cracks me up.
