Personally, I thought Pam was a hell of alot prettier than Sissy. I'm sure I'm alone in this

but she was a Barbie doll. Pampered and living off of daddy's money. See that look on her face when Bud thought she cleaned the trailer. Bet she never lifted a broom in her entire life. She was likable but not the type you marry, like Sissy

Yes, but I think that was kind of the point. Pam was the trophy on the arm but Bud really loved Sissy.
Sissy was hot in her own way though, but she had the personality that Bud liked - and we all know that hot vs. hot and the personality you prefer = no contest.

I thought she pretty as well as Sissy. But I personally find Sissy to be way more naturally beautiful. She barley wore any makeup in this film and still looked beautiful. Pam had the makeup packed on, and looked older than Sissy. Also wasn't Buds real type of person, probably not even her looks. I think he was far more attracted to Sissy as well in all ways, not just her personality. Debra Winger was gorgeous, just a natural beauty. I always thought Pam was pretty, but not like Sissy.

Sissy had a real 80's look to her which detracts a bit but her natural beauty does come through. Pam is hotter by today's standards- in my opinion of course. I thought Pan had some real nobility in the end. She could have been spiteful but loved her man enough to let him be happy.

I thought Sissy was naturally beautiful in an easy going girl next door way.
Pam was gussied up and sophisticated. They were both beautiful in their own way.

Bud's a simple man and wanted a simple beauty.
