I remember the movie well...

I was 13 at the time when the movie was released. Up the street from me, in Santa Monica, California, there was a country-western restaurant and bar called SH Kickers. They had a mechanical bull there, as the owner was inspired by the movie to buy it. Me and my mom would go in there to eat dinner, and they had great food. They had sawdust on the floor. Mom would do country line dancing, and i would sit and play video games and eat popcorn. LOL What great memories.

Yep I was 11 when it came out, growing up in west TX - this movie was a really big deal. I remember even back then how neat it was that Mr. New York Barbarion Sat Night Fever was all of sudden this backwoods cowboy.
