The Fog, Halloween, Prom Night...this will be next!

Not only have they remade just about every horror film from the 70's and 80's, they have remade almost all of Jaime Lee Curtis' films except this one. (Halloween is currently filming and Prom Night is in pre-production). I'm sure within the next year or two, we will see a new version of this as well! It's almost a given at this point.

He's still in good shape but don't think he'd work as a red herring again...don't think he'd pass for a college student.

Unfortunately you're right. This remake mania is just getting ridiculous, especially as the remakes are never as good as the originals!

These original movies should be re-released as double features in a movie theater.

Agreed with the OP: Unfortunately, i will not surprised if they made a remake. What a way to waste money....

Yeah, I guess Hollywood will have to learn the hard way when they final see the numbers. It will undoubtedly will be a long process , as it seems that we will soon be bombarded with 3-D remakes. The executives need to have more courage and stop thinking that their jobs are of paramount importance. Fact is, if they had a little back bone, their job security would be assured!

Just my opinion.
