I heard of a planned remake but it was turned into a stand alone film called like "TRAIN" or something. And then I think someone mentioned an actual remake. But this was so long ago. Nothings confirmed.

From what I recall,they did a re-imagining called Train,and then I heard it wasn't,so who knows.Then I heard there is a remake coming now.But Train was supposed to be a remake-re-imagining of it.But I heard it was way different and way gorier.

Train was supposed to be the re-make of Terror Train The script eventually morphed into it's own story. So I'm sure there are elements of Terror Train in it though it's probably got a different back story.
