What happened to the commentary track on the new DVD/BLU RAY?

From memory this release was supposed to feature a commentary with the director, however there is none on the disc. Furthermore, all recent reviews of the disc do not mention the lack of commentary.

I'm still pleased with the DVD release however a commentary track would have been awesome.

The producer of the Blu Ray said in a recent interview that the Director showed up to record the commentary but then changed his mind and left !

Just watched the Blu ray and had forgotten what a fun little movie this is !
