one of the best chase scenes in an 80s slasher **SPOILERS**

The chase sequence that follows Alana stabbing Kenny with the sword is very suspenseful, graphic, and intense! I like the movie as a whole, but the big chase sequence is among slasher's best IMO. My all-time fave is the one from Rosenthal's H2, but TT runs a close second. Makes the whole movie !!

Agreed. The way the killer sticks his arm out in front of Alana after she stabs him always gets me, even though I know it's coming! Then when he traps her in that room and shakes the bunk beds . . . creepy. It's very suspenseful as he approaches her and she has no place to run. And I always cringe when he rips out her earring. Great chase scene. One of the best of that era.

I love that her biography Scream Queen used an image from Terror Train on the front cover. It says something about the film itself I think. Earring scene definitely makes an impression, as well as when Alana hits her head on the door knob during her fight with Kenny. Derek McKinnon said in an interview that all of that was real, he and Jamie had an understanding before they went into the scene that they were really going to rough each other up.
