Charlotte Ramping

Two of the best scenes in the movie were when Dorrie was weeping and talking into the camera and when she kept looking up, giving a very seductive look like a cat eyeing her prey, knowing it will come to her soon enough.

Ah, yes I love that part too! Although, I loved any part she was in, she was so beautiful, and so mesmerizing.

I lust for the "Night Porter" era Charlotte Rampling.

it's like he points the camera at her, sets the great lighting, and says "just be, just think about the full range of emotions, and i'll film it." cause he knew her face would captivate.

Not beautiful at all. I don't trust anyone who lacks eyelids.

She's great in Swimming Pool, too.

She's the reason I saw Swimming Pool. Awesome performance in a movie that pretty much no one knows about, sadly.

I'd like everybody's attention. Christmas is cancelled.

She is still sexy in this season of "Dexter!" If you like older women...

She looks like a wolf to me. Her facial expressions--you know what I mean? Anybody else think that.

She looks like a very attractive wolf. I also love the scene toward the end where she's paging through the newspaper and glancing up occasionally.

reply

She looks fierce, that is probably one aspect of her appeal.

She's frightening in that "nut house" scene, but she's also quite charming in the part where she's sitting on the freezing beach "speed reading" philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer and her funny and flirtatious back-and-forth ("Yes, I guess I am on the beautiful side.") with Sandy Bates (Woody). Obviously it was one of the "two days a month" where she was amazing.

Charlotte Rampling at her prime always a feast for the eyes. Exquisitely beautiful and seductive.
I particularly enjoyed the scene when Woody looks at her and realized how beautiful is she and how perfect that moment was.
