What if she had gotten pregnant?

I know it's a crazy thought and probably would have added more confusion to an already confusing situation, but suppose by some crazy chance that Elise had become pregnant during their "one night of passion"? That would mean Richard would have a son or daughter who was almost 40 years older than he was! Do you think Elise would have ever tried to explain to her child who his father was? Interesting to think about.....

It would have added another layer to the story but also may have detracted from the purity of it. Interesting idea though.

Then a terminator from the future would be sent back to kill both Jane Seymour and her child. (Who was half Kryptonian)

Elise's daughter would have been born in 1913, and in the 1940s, the daughter could give birth to Richard. After his time travel experience, instead of dying in the hotel, he could go on tour telling the story and singing, "I'm My Own Grandpaw."
