After seeing the scene, where Richard sees the future penny in his hand, then looks at Elise, and reaches for her...
I have wondered what would have happened if Richard was holding hands with Elise, and then with other hand reached into his pocket and found the penny from the future.
Would Elise have been pulled into the future with Richard?
Obviously that would have been a completely different movie, but that would have made for an interesting setup for a sequel...
