Often imitated, but never duplicated. I often hear The Notebook compared, but it doesn't hold a candle to SIT in my opinion.

There are many similarities in James Cameron's Titanic. I'm sure they are purposeful as I've heard he was a big fan of this gem of a film.

But there's just nothing quite like this one. Every year or so I must watch it again and it only gets better.

Japanese movie called 'Cyborg Girl' and the original Korean Movie 'My Sassy Girl' both romantic and involve elements of time travelling.
