What a frekin masterpiece !!!

I haven't watched this Classic in a while and now it's cycling around the cable Chanel's and I just finished watching. They don't make movies remotely close to this anymore. Makes me miss the "Casinos" and "raging bulls" . Good old fashioned human stories with great acting. Is it me or is almost everything that's out nowadays taken from other works, like novels. Every movie now is based on a book which is fine but I miss the originals. Raging Bull is one of the greatest films ever made and by far the greatest boxing film and there were some really good ones (rocky, Cinderella Man) . If there's a movie that deserves a 10 score it's this. What a CLASSIC !!!

Wow, you really need to watch more Film. Start with Hitchcock. This movie was unrealistic in the story and especially the characters. No one is that paranoid and abusive. It's waaaay over the top, and over-rated junk by the Italian Mafia.

So, have you actually met someone with this supposed ultra paranoid personality that Jake had in this silly movie? No, I didn't think so, because it's not a great character study at all. It's just unrealistic violence porn. Great acting?! Tah! More like a couple of overpaid over hyped Italian buddies. I could be great too if the mob paid my way, and propped me up at every turn.
