Rocky is better than this garbage heap

Full disclosure:
I hate boxing. Can't stand it.
So why did I watch this?
Nothing else was on and I was curious to see what all the fuss was about.
What did I see?
Nothing but fights, in and out of the ring, a bunch of yelling, screaming, and cursing at each other.
Plus at least an hour of Jake going on and on and on about how his wife said briefly of how good looking another boxer was. So what? Let it go already. Jeez.

But compared to Rocky, that I will watch again and again and again at least up to the fight scenes.
Rocky is not some violent, easily jealous cursing thug.
There is a scene where he encourages a girl to stop cursing.
And even though Rocky is a loan shark enforcer, he doesn't beat up the guy he collects from because he has a heart.
Rocky has a story of love, compassion and other good human qualities behind it.
That is why Rocky is better than Raging Bull Sh!t even though I hate boxing movies.

So because a film only depicts the positive aspects of humankind, it automatically makes it better? Rocky may be more pleasant to watch, but Raging Bull is superior in every aspects of directing, acting, cinematography, and editing.

Raging Bull = Best movie

Original poster is correct, and loepark is likely part of the mafia that props up this junk film. No one acts like Jake in real life, and so it's just another garbage film. Even if people do supposedly act like him, no one cars to see 2 hours of that stupid crap on screen. Film will rub off on you, and the characters mannerisms will as well. OP is correct, this film is total garbage, and not inspirational in any way shape or form as a character study or ANYTHING. I could remake this story to be more inspirational and a characters study in a heartbeat. Your junk film is only propped up by mob italians that control some portion of hollywood, and nothing more.
