More like 10 years later!
After the little kids kill their friend it says "six years later". The kids were about 8 when it happened and now they are seniors in high school. About 10 years later!
shareYeah I don't understand why they didn't say 10 years later. But I think Jamie Lee Curtis' character was older then her sister and brother who were twins. She says in one scene that she (her deceased sister ) would have been a junior this year. But still I wonder why Jamie character and her brother weren't with their sister that day, usually when kids are that close in age they play together.
shareThey were with her walking towards the building where the other kids are playing the "killer game." But then Kim leaves to retrieve a book and Alex says he's not sticking around after telling her that the other kids didn't want her in their game.
