I watched this movie (Popeye) last night on DVD and I really liked it. Robin Williams (Popeye) and Shelly Duval (Olive Oil) were really great. I especially liked the last scene where Popeye sings I'm Popeye the sailor man. It's too bad that Robin Williams committed suicide.
slimone --- i refuse to allow you to come here to defile the memory of our beloved Robin and director Robert Altman. You're a lousy writer. Don't you bots have another forum in which you can hang out? Your scribblings are not welcome here.
I invite you to click slimone's name and read any of its numerous film reviews. You will find each and every one is worded the exact same way: "I just saw [movie title] on DVD and I really liked it! [Cast members are listed, even marginal ones] were all great! I especially liked the last scene when [slimone gives the last scene of the film]. I highly recommend it!" It is not for nothing I have accused slimone of being some sort of bot program. She has crossed the line by invoking a film by Robert Altman whom I revere above all other American filmmakers.
Okay, I get your point. I thought you were being sarcastic. Well, to each his own. But it seems strange to me that someone would construct a bot to give good reviews. Aren't bots usually devised to cause problems?
Another guy on here thinks slimone might be "special" if you know what I mean and not a bot at all. Yet "special" people don't usually review movies like Lawrence of Arabia, American Graffiti or Spielberg's obscure cult film 1941.
