Director's Cut

So apparently there is a three hour version of this movie that allegedly makes sense. Has anyone ever seen it? I'm curious.

I wouldn't think Paramount and Disney would consider even agreeing to release a three hour cut. Honestly, I don't even blame them, because it would be too long, even for a film about "Popeye". It maybe also because the film was such a failure at it's release and they don't want anything to do with it.

I'd like to watch that too.

The film made money-well over its budget and so I dunno how you can say it was a "failure", and obviously are lots of people out there that enjoy it--it was different and that is what is good about it. But I'd also like to see a longer version.

It's not that the 3 hour cut makes more sense, it's just suppose to be darker and add more plot to the story. A version does still exist I beleive in the hands of one of the people who worked on the film.

I pay to see a director's cut of this, probably would never be released though.

reply

I would say that since Altman's death there will probably not be a directors cut released.

This is a fake. Some idiot has joined two foreign copies of the movie together nothing more. Why waste time like this, easier to Rick-Roll
