Shelly Duvall's singing to be painful to listen to?

Did you ever watch the Popeye cartoons? That IS how Olive Oil sounded. Duvall nailed it. But no, it wasn't painful to listen to, for me.

I thought it was sweet. But, then, I'm given to Shelley Duvall, so maybe that's part of it for me.
