This used to be my favorite movie when I was a kid, so maybe this song sparks something from my childhood or I'm just hungry but I've been listening to this for 4 days straight....Everything is Food! I might just be a Harry Nilson fan now. But watching this so many things are going on in it. Whether it being blimpy trying to steal a hamburger, or the tax man taking advantage of his job or the alcoholic struggling to not take a shot of liquor or the mail man burning his hand, so much more too.

That scene in the movie is kind of strange and especially with that waitress in the birdcage, what was that all about? Disturbing!! Those bullies who were making fun of Popeye in the restaurant shouldn't talk, they were all big fat ugly guys!

It seems that you didn't pay enough attention to that scene. The waitress lowered that cage over herself for protection just before the fight started. So, it's not really disturbing.

Well that's your opinion. Normal people don't sit in a giant birdcage and the movie was just strange.

I'm assuming that fights weren't unusual and that was for self-protection, but then I was born before 2000.

Did you know that Goldie Hawn was discovered while working as a dancer at the Whiskey A-go-go back in the '60s?
