One dissapointment with the drill scene...

I loved this scene, the effect of the drill piercing his head was really well done and looked so good.

But there's one thing that annoyed me about it - why was this kill (the best in the film, imo) committed by some random person and not one the undead? What was the point of having some stupid father kill him just because he was there with his daughter? They could have had one of the undead do it instead, which would have been great.

i read somewhere that because the gates of hell were opened up it made everyone a little on edge...

Who knows, who cares. The father was a bad ass, that's all the explanation you need.

Earliar in the movie the guys in the bar were talking about how Bob probably committed the murders, so that seemed to have been the word around town. The father of the girl thought he was a threat to her, calling Bob a murderer as he pushed Bob's face down to the table.

In that same bar scene, they had talked about the troubled past of Bob and how he did some horrible things to one of their daughters. You couple that along with the town on edge because of the Gates of Hell being opened, you get a scene that makes sense. Pay a little more attention to the movie.
