if you hate a movie so much why do you take the time out of your life to come to its board on here and trash it, get a life

That's always bugged me too. I know people want to give their opinion and that's fine if one wants to express disappointment, but why linger and continue to bash it? I personally can't see myself going out of my way to go on a message board for a film I don't like...unless something were to really, really bother me about it, but even then...

I guess they both have the right and you just have to get over it. Oh and this movie is overrated.
I check out the board for films I watch right after I watch them. I am curious to see what other people thought, I like reading all kinds of different comments about a film, and ideally, I like to post something about my thoughts/reactions to the film--in lieu of writing reviews, it's one way to help me remember the film for a longer period of time. I do that whether I liked a film or not.

I don't understand why people get so worked up about someone on the internet expressing an opinion. So what if you don't agree with them? Does everyone have to have the same taste in movies? What's wrong with someone watching a movie, not enjoying it and wanting to discuss with others how terrible they thought it was?
If it really bothers you, don't click on those links and don't read those posts.

I don't understand it either. If I absolutely hate a film, I try to forget about it. Then again, I'm usually a good judge of if a movie will be good so I probably wouldn't be watching a movie so horrid in the first place.
