Filming Locations

If there are any other die hard fans of this movie out there, curious enough to go to Montreal to seek out filming locations, maybe I can save you some work. I spent a few hours on my vacation there last week, strolling around Vieux Montreal searching and found the following:

1. Patricia Elliot's apartment building, "Carlton Court" is located at 443 Rue Saint Vincent, just off Rue Saint Paul. It looks different now, but the tudor building next door is a dead give away.

2. One of the locations used as the "Needham Gallery" is actually a souvenir store located just around the corner from "Carlton Court" at 179 Rue Saint Paul. A different location is used when Benji gets thrown out of the gallery, not sure where that one is.

3. In a chase sequence later in the movie, Benji is cornered by Omar Sharif in the doorway of a shop at 373 Rue Saint Francois Xavier, just off Rue Saint Paul West.

4. One of the more recognizable street scenes was shot, again, along Rue Saint Paul, facing Northeast at the intersection of Saint Laurent Blvd.

5. Across town, Jane Seymour's apartment building is not disguised at all. It actually is Stanley Tower at 3470 Stanley St.
