Absolute worst movie trailer + commercials!!!

Just got the DVD of this gem of a movie I remember from HBO back in the early 1980s. Still good and real feeling. This was not another stupid high school teen movie that we had in the 1980s.

But if you watch the trailer for the movie and the television commercials (both are on the DVD) you would think this is another shallow, stupid high school teen movie. Even the upbeat music in the trailer & commercials liken this to a comedy.

I realize the idea is to get people to go to the film...but what good is it getting people there who expect one thing only to have something different. Kills word of mouth. The movie is too good to have a non-reflective trailer.
