Are you kidding me? real fake?? What's fake about it...realistic kids, realistic story, realistic looking kids.

I guess in the '80s, a strong original script, good acting, no CGI, no GQ looking actors, and shot in 2-D make for a boring movie. I forgot that movies today are sooo much better and that today's movies aren't overdone remade pieces of crap from the boring movie era of the '80's, that are then post produced to be in 3-D.

Sorry, my mistake.

real fake? Make up your mind, it was either real, or it was fake. And I guess 80s movies were so crap and all today's films are so great that that's why today's filmmakers (and I use that term lightly for all these MTV spawned party boys who are lucky enough to get to make movies) are remaking all the 80s movies... and ruining them by the way.

Fake? Nope, very realistic. Very real and believable characters.

Boring? To each his own, but I like each and every scene in this gem.

OK for the 1980s? As opposed to the "great" films that are made today? Ummm, OK.
