I noticed a naked chick!

Now that I have your attention I want to ask you where I can get this movie.

I've tried to get this film at Blockbuster but it's so old that they don't carry it anymore. They don't even put this movie on TNT or TCM. I'm only 17 but I like Westerns that kick ass and my dad said that this is one of the best ones. If there's anybody out there who can give me info on where to get this movie on DVD then please let me know.

Also, have a look at "The Good, Bad, Ugly" and of course "Once upon a time in the west". Both directed by Sergio Leone, music by Morricone, both films amongst the best in its genre.

I have seen those movies, Sergio Leone movies kick ass. And the music kicks ass too. I've seen every John Ford, Howard Hawkes, and Sergio Leone western. I've also seen the Wild Bunch and other Sam Peckinpah movies. Everyone of these guys being my favorite directors of all time. It just seems like The Long Riders is the only western I've never seen. Thanks for the reply.

I found the movie at Walmart. In the $5.00 bin. Sometimes if you look thru there, you can find some really great stuff.

On Hallmark channel today. They tend to show movies again and again so watch for it.

If you can't find older movies at your local video store, you might try Blockbuster online or Netflix. They both have a huge selection of DVD titles compaired to local video stores.

Great come-on line. Got my attention, too. Glad you got it at Target. The Long Riders is a keeper. Let us know your reaction. I remember the first time I saw Hill's depiction of the Northfield raid. I grew up reading accounts of the event (I know I'm not alone here) and was convinced that was probably as close to how it actually happened as we were likely to get. Man, did they overreach themselves on that one.

I bought this recently on DVD and I'm watching it right now while scanning through the forum. About 1 hour and 5 minutes into the film there is a courtesy nipple shot. The scene contains Bob Younger as he is getting up from bed.

I bought the dvd earlier this year, but for those with digital cable it is now showing on one of them (either Encore or Cinemax i think) uncut, also don't forget the butt shot of Pamela Reed (Belle Starr) getting up from her bath) Pam was a hottie in those days (well for me anyway) great classic well made Western.

Bought it at Wal-Mart yesterday for 5 bucks
