Opening Scene/ Who Was That Actor?

Did that hilarious and painful opening scene actually influence or inspire any girls to kick boys/guys right where it really counts?...Also who was and whatever became of the poor teenage guy that was kicked in the nuts extremely hard by Kristy McNichol? There is no mention of him in any of the credits, or was his acting career, manhood and sexlife really forever ruined by that devistating kick.

I have to disagree it was hilarious. Why is kicking a man in the testicles always a sure laugh getter ? Maybe if he was truly attacking a woman, but for a stupid comment ?

Can you imagine a boy harshly punching a woman's breast (or worse) if she made some dumb flip comment ? He'd be immediately arrested, and in a movie, trust me no one would giggle.

I suppose they had to establish Kristy as a toughie but her great acting sufficed.

It was hilarious because a pompous guy getting it right in the nutz is due-justice.

Nowadays in the politically-correct 21st century, it can be perceived as an assault on personal property.

But let me assure you: back then, at the dawn of the 1980s, seeing a sex-obsessed white heterosexual male get put down physically was simply a case of "he got what was cumming to him."

"Don't call me 'honey', mac."
"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"

"he got what was cumming to him."
