I saw this movie one Halloween night in the early 80s, and it has stuck with me ever since. What a cool movie! A classic WWII B-29, beautiful tropical setting, a Han Solo-esque reluctant-hero pilot, crazy japanese soldiers with swords, sharks, and the world's coolest jury-rigged sailboat. What's not to love?

Holy crap! You and I probably saw it at the same time!! That was when I first saw it, too, Halloween, 1981! I remember rushing through Trick-Or-Treating just to get back home to watch it.
I'm so glad to have it on DVD... which I found at Savers for $3.00 2 years ago.
And I have a B-29 model. Some day, I *might* pull a Noah Dugan on it.

This was on BBC 2 a few months back just watched the film & it was OK.
Never seen or heard of it before but give The Last Flight of Noah's Ark a 5 out of 10.
Its not to dated to like some others as its just an old plane.
