The movie definately had its share of problems. Given that, I think it's safe to say that whether or not you liked this movie largely depends on whether you were a Neil Diamnod fan going in. Having said that, I'd also say that the soundtrack was probably the strongest studio album of his career (..."studio album" meaning not counting hits compilations or live albums).

I think any true Neil Diamond fan would feel embarrassed for him after watching his performance in this picture. He's a talented songwriter and singer, but the man can't act to save his ass.
