Someone Remake this film, PLEASE

Just think of the potential. You've got the opening with the zombies at the airport, it's so perfect. The tv station, the hospital, the amusement park. There is so much that can be done with this material. Just don't make the zombies too smart like they are here. That's the major fault. They shouldn't be shooting guns and able to do everything. Dumb them down and you've got a movie.

So change the entire movie but keep, the setting. Also if you change the Zombies, you cant have the opening.

I say remake it, but, get a better ending! LOL Like with Hell Of The Living Dead. That needs to be remade to have a more coherent structure, so, the ending and the reason for the zombies, which is rather interesting and a new twist, doesn't come out of left field as it does.

This remake fever must stop.

Yeah OK

But the problem with an updated version now would be that it would be stripped of all the gore so that it was exactly 1Hr 30 mins. It would have to have young hip actors, and also appeal to a demographic that don't watch this sort of trash anyway so that it can be released as PG13....

Oh and the ending would still be bad.

It was already remade: It's called PLANET TERROR

while not an official remake - Rodriguez's PLANET TERROR was actually a homage to this film, as Marley Shelton mentioned in the Grindhouse 101 section on the official site.

Fu ck that. Stop remakes.

There have been good zombie remakes... I don't see any real reason to remake this movie, but I would have loved to see a sequel...

Space is Big, let's dump our crap there!

A remake would actually work with this little-known Italian gem...
