Giant mutant bugs from hell

This is the film where there was a a heavy set guy with a gray beard (preacher/farmer) teaching from big wall sized chart about the end times, distinctly explaining to us that there would be a swarm of locust monsters with scorpion stingers and human faces attacking people on the Earth and causing great suffering. Later in the film, evil Diane confronts our main characters lady when they hear a loud buzzing sound...Diane opens the door and what is supposed to be the stinger of a huge, gigantic bug comes in and stings Diane in true Saturday Night Live style, leaving her laying on the ground in terrible pain for five months!! Oh the horror!!!! Later, our preacher/farmer is shown to be suffering from the sting as well. I know this sounds silly, but this is literally what takes place on screen!

Anyhow, here is the infamous scene itself for your viewing pleasure; http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=l1vTbuQtdGo&feature=related! Diane's scene is around 6:20 and don't forget the scene at around 7:00 when the shadow on the stinger creeps up on our main character. I re watched this whole wretched movie (Image of the Beast) just to see this cheap giant stinger hurt Diane again!!!!!

Do Christains REALLY believe this is going to happen? In short, yes they do. I used to be a believer, and I too truly believed this nonsense. How embarrassing. Luckily, we have this film series that shows us on screen just how silly and ludicrous the ideas really are.

How can you speak for "all christians"? Are you god or something and can look inside people's brains? Also, it seems silly that one would be "embarrassed" for once believing. Who bears witness to this? I once was embarrassed...in high school 

From dream to dream....we have always been, like an ever flowing stream....

While the locust thing may seem impossible, what gives you the right to think this couldn't actually happen? You don't know that for sure so don't be so hard on it. Besides, we might not even have actual locusts. It seems like those are actually helicopters that will be flying around and the apostle John writing this 2,000 years ago wouldn't have been exposed to a helicopter and can only picture it being a giant locust (he describes it having brass plates). The makers of the movie didn't interpret it this way and actually took it as locusts so that's what we ended up getting. But we don't know for sure until this whole tribulation thing happens. You should rethink on this and stop being so ignorant like none of this couldn't happen.
